AI & Machine Learning Intern

Qualifications

Candidates should have:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or currently be studying towards a degree, in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field

Strong Python programming skills

Hands-on experience with

Pandas, NumPy and Scikit-learn

Hands-on experience with at least one deep learning framework such as

PyTorch or TensorFlow

Good understanding of

data structures, algorithms, probability, statistics and mathematical concepts relevant to machine learning

Demonstrated experience building, training and evaluating machine learning models

Ability to select and interpret appropriate evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC, RMSE or similar

Understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, exploratory data analysis, model validation and model optimisation

Working knowledge of

Git and GitHub

Understanding of Large Language Model concepts, including

tokenisation, embeddings, encoder/decoder architectures, prompting, context windows, pre-training and fine-tuning

Hands-on experience using an

LLM API, open-source LLM or AI development framework

Familiarity with

prompting and in-context learning

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical problems

Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical work clearly

Demonstrable AI/ML project required

at least one AI, machine learning or data science project that they can demonstrate and explain in detail during the interview

Internship requirements

Candidates must be able to work

full-time and on-site from our Hyderabad office for the full six-month internship
