Robotics Engineering Intern (ROS2 , sensor integration & Simulation)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

ROS2

(Robot Operating System 2) packages, nodes, and communication pipelines.

Build and maintain realistic simulation environments using

Gazebo

(or equivalent physics simulators) for algorithm validation and testing.

Integrate, calibrate, and troubleshoot various hardware sensors (e.g., LiDARs, IMUs, Depth Cameras, and ultrasonic sensors).

Collaborate actively with mechanical and electrical teams to resolve hardware-software integration challenges.

Debug, profile, and optimize code running on Linux/Ubuntu environments under real-world constraints.

What We Are Looking For

Education/Background:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Technical Stack:

Strong proficiency in C++

and

Python

.

Hands-on experience working with

ROS2

(nodes, topics, services, lifecycle nodes).

Demonstrated experience with

Gazebo simulation

and physics engines.

Practical project or team experience with

sensor integration

and data calibration.
