You will be responsible for

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications and APIs.• Deliver end-to-end application features across front-end, back-end, integrations, and database components.• Develop high-quality, reusable, and well-documented code while ensuring compliance with security and governance requirements.• Ensure solution quality through testing, code reviews, defect prevention, and adherence to defined quality standards.• Support application deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and production issue resolution to ensure service reliability and performance.• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and data solutions that enable secure and efficient business processes.• Drive continuous improvement through automation, reusable assets, process optimization, and adoption of emerging technologies.• Build strong stakeholder relationships and provide clear communication on delivery progress, risks, and dependencies.• Live & demonstrate Tesco values in everyday interactions.

You will need

Experience level - 0 to 3 years PreferredDomain Skills:Knowledge of web application development and digital solutions. Ability to understand business requirements, contribute to solution development, and support application enhancements and maintenance activities.Technical Skills:Front-end development, web application development, API integration, and database fundamentals.Primary Skills• ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3• Web application development• REST API integration and consumption• Jira, Confluence, GitHub• Low-Code/No-Code platforms

Secondary Skills• Python development• PostgreSQL and relational database concepts

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Eagerness to learn new technologies and development practices• Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional teams• Good communication and collaboration skills
