About the role

Business Area: Work within BT Group's telecom technology and digital engineering teams to build and support applications, platforms, and network solutions.

Impact: Help develop software that improves customer experience, network reliability, and operational efficiency.

Strategic Contribution: Support BT's digital transformation journey through innovation, automation, and modern software development practices.

What you'll be doing

Develop and support software solutions that enhance BT Group's digital and telecom services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and customer-focused technology solutions.

Learn, contribute, and grow within an agile engineering environment while helping improve network operations.

Essential Skills / Experience

Good understanding of Java and/or Python programming.

Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Familiarity with Git/version control concepts.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
