Associate Software Engineer - JAVA AI

The Java AI Apprentice will work with senior engineers and architects to design, develop, and support AI powered applications and intelligent automation solutions. The role focuses on building scalable Java based applications, integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), developing AI agents, and implementing modern cloud native and microservices architectures. This apprenticeship provides hands on exposure to Generative AI, enterprise application development, and emerging AI engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java based applications, microservices, and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.

Assist in integrating Generative AI services, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI powered capabilities into enterprise applications.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services to support AI applications, chatbots, virtual assistants, and intelligent workflows.

Collaborate with senior developers to design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources.

Develop AI agent workflows and automation solutions using modern AI frameworks and orchestration tools.

Implement prompt engineering techniques and optimize AI model interactions for accuracy, performance, and user experience.

Support deployment and monitoring of AI applications on cloud platforms using containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.

Contribute to application testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization activities.

Create technical documentation, developer guides, and knowledge sharing materials for AI and Java based solutions.

Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous learning activities related to software engineering and AI technologies.
