About DataFuel

DataFuel runs the analytics and ads-automation layer for consumer brands selling on Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra and on the quick-commerce apps Zepto, Blinkit and Instamart. We collect data from thousands of dark stores and every major marketplace, turn it into dashboards brands use daily, and automate their ad spend. The team is small, so what you ship reaches paying customers within days.

How we work

We build with coding agents like Claude Code every day. You will too. The skill we hire for is knowing what to ask for, reading what comes back, and noticing when it’s wrong. You own every line you ship, whoever typed it.

What you'll work on

Quick-commerce data: Build and maintain the sweeps that track prices, stock and search rankings across thousands of dark stores. You’ll handle rate limits, blocking and flaky endpoints, and make sure the numbers are right.

Marketplace backends: integrate with Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra ads APIs. That means syncing campaigns, making bid and budget changes safely, and serving the reporting APIs behind our dashboards.

Background jobs and analytics: write Celery workers, and SQL queries over Postgres and ClickHouse on tables with hundreds of millions of rows.

AI features: add tools and data readers to Atlas, our AI assistant, and help check that its answers are correct.Front end: connect your APIs to our React + TypeScript app and fix the UI when needed.

What We're Looking For B.Tech/B.E. in CS, IT, ECE or related field

CGPA 8.0+

Strong Python, Data Structures & SQL fundamentals

Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs & JSON

Comfortable with Git

At least one project we can review — GitHub, deployed app, scraper, etc

Good to Have

FastAPI / Flask

PostgreSQL / Redis

React / TypeScript basics

Web scraping or API reverse-engineering

Experience with an LLM API

Experience using Claude Code, Cursor or similar coding agents

Linux / AWS basics

Hiring Process

Take-home assignment (~4 hours) → Technical Walkthrough (60 min) → Founder Chat (30 min)

AI tools are allowed during the take-home. During the technical walkthrough, you'll explain your work and extend the solution without AI assistance.

We aim to decide within a week of your walkthrough.

Compensation

₹6LPA–12 LPA fixed, set by how you do in the take-home and interviews

3-month probation, a review at 6 months, and a performance raise at 12 months
