Backend Software Engineer

What You Will Do

Contribute to the development of robust, scalable, high-performance backend microservices and APIs.

Support the upkeep and ongoing evolution of core service domains, ensuring reliability, throughput, and alignment with long-term architecture.

Partner with product managers, designers, and game teams to translate complex into well-defined technical deliverables, plans, and milestones.

Reduce technical debt by refactoring code, automating workflows, and modernizing legacy systems.

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

1+ years of experience designing and delivering web services using modern programming languages (Java or Golang).

Working knowledge of transport protocols (HTTP, gRPC) and API design best practices.

Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g.Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query performance tuning.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling (e.g., GitHub Actions).

Good understanding of distributed systems fundamentals and microservice design patterns.

Exposure to at least one public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability frameworks.

Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies.

Knowledge of performance profiling, load testing, and bottleneck analysis.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to explain

complex technical concepts clearly.

A strong sense of ownership and a product-focused approach to problem solving

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
