Backend Software Engineer (SDE)

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

Build and maintain microservices for production applications.

Develop reliable backend solutions using

Node.js or Golang

.

Work with databases and optimize queries and data access.

Implement caching and performance improvements using

Redis

or similar technologies.

Build and maintain event-driven systems using

Kafka

or similar messaging technologies.

Troubleshoot application and production issues.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Collaborate with frontend engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders.

Follow engineering best practices including

Git, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD

.

Contribute to improving application scalability, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

1–8 years

of professional software engineering or backend development experience.

Strong programming experience in

Node.js or Golang

.

Strong understanding of backend development and

REST APIs

.

Hands-on experience with

microservices architecture

.

Experience with

Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming technologies

.

Experience with

Redis

.

Experience with relational and/or

NoSQL databases

.

Experience working on

production-grade applications

.

Familiarity with

Git

and software development best practices.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
