Role Description

This is a full-time Coder role based in Mumbai, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility. The Coder will design, develop, and maintain features for Chrome extensions and VSCode integrations, focusing on performance, reliability, and usability. Daily tasks include writing and reviewing code, debugging issues, optimizing existing functionality, and collaborating with product and design teammates to refine requirements. The role also involves creating technical documentation, participating in code reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of development tools and processes.

Qualifications

Strong programming skills in modern JavaScript or TypeScript, with experience in building browser extensions or VSCode extensions.

Solid understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and DOM APIs, and familiarity with Chrome DevTools or similar debugging tools.

Experience with version control (Git), collaborative development workflows, and writing clean, testable, maintainable code.

Ability to analyze requirements, break down problems, and implement efficient solutions with attention to performance and security.

Comfort working in a hybrid environment based in Mumbai, with effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in developer tooling or productivity software is a plus.
