Development Test Engineer

Responsibilities

•⁠ ⁠Build applications and features on open-source codebases using Frigga products

•⁠ ⁠Understand unfamiliar repositories, architecture, and application workflows

•⁠ ⁠Test product features through practical software-development tasks

•⁠ ⁠Identify issues in algorithms, generated outputs, context retrieval, and product workflows

•⁠ ⁠Reproduce and document defects with clear technical evidence

•⁠ ⁠Verify fixes and perform regression testing

•⁠ ⁠Share structured feedback with the product and engineering teams

Requirements

•⁠ ⁠1–3 years of software-development experience

•⁠ ⁠Strong programming and debugging fundamentals

•⁠ ⁠Experience working with Git, APIs, databases, and existing codebases

•⁠ ⁠Ability to independently build a functional application or feature

•⁠ ⁠Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•⁠ ⁠Ability to document technical issues clearly

•⁠ ⁠Experience with developer tools, AI coding tools, or open-source projects is an advantage

Candidates will be evaluated on their development ability, product understanding, testing approach, quality of investigation, and clarity of reporting.
