Engineer I - Software Development

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver scalable software features and services with clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor AI, and Claude to improve development productivity, code quality, and design reviews.

Lead technical analysis, solution design, and effort estimation for assigned features and workstreams.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.

Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams on technical roadmap and architecture decisions.

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements, automation, and DevOps best practices.

Use Generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for technical documentation, specifications, and design artifacts.

Required Skills & Experience

Hands-on software development experience delivering production-grade applications.

Strong programming skills in Java, Go, or similar modern languages.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Agile development, and DevOps practices.

Good understanding of system design, microservices, and distributed systems.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Experience in high-scale, transaction-intensive environments is preferred.

Preferred

Exposure to airline, travel, or enterprise-scale technology platforms.

Experience utilizing AI-powered developer tools to enhance engineering productivity and software quality.
