Front end & UI/UX Intern

The Front End Intern will work full time remotely, contributing to the design and development of user-facing features for our web platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive UI components, converting design mockups into clean, reusable code, and collaborating with product and backend teams to ensure seamless integrations. The intern will assist in debugging and optimizing front-end performance, improving accessibility, and maintaining consistency in design patterns and styles. This role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting features, and continuously learning modern front-end best practices and tools.

Qualifications

Foundational front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with at least one modern framework or library such as React, Vue, or Angular.

Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and basic web accessibility principles.

Experience or coursework related to version control (Git), package managers, and front-end build tools.

Ability to translate UI/UX designs into functional interfaces and collaborate effectively with designers and engineers.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Interest in fintech, legal tech, or startup ecosystems is a plus.
