Full Stack Developer - AI Best Practices - Remote

Responsibilities

Top 5 responsibilities

Develop and maintain full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Next.js across the AIBP web application portfolio.

Build frontend components and user experiences that are responsive, accessible, and production-ready.

Develop backend APIs, business logic, database queries, and integrations while following established application architecture and coding standards.

Write unit, integration, and E2E tests to ensure application quality and reliability.

Use Linear and other development tools to track assigned work, provide status updates, and deliver features within agreed timelines.

Additional Responsibilities

Work with senior engineers and product team members to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.

Break assigned requirements into smaller development tasks and implement them independently.

Build reusable React components and maintain clean, readable, and maintainable frontend code.

Develop REST APIs and backend services using TypeScript and modern full-stack frameworks.

Work with relational databases and ORMs such as Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, or similar.

Create and maintain database schemas, queries, and migrations under guidance from senior engineers.

Write automated tests including unit, integration, and browser-based E2E tests using tools such as Playwright or equivalent.

Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior developers.

Use Claude Code, Claude.ai, and other AI-assisted development tools to improve coding and development productivity.

Review and validate AI-generated code before committing it, especially for authentication, authorization, database operations, and other sensitive functionality.

Follow secure coding practices and understand common web application security concerns such as XSS, CSRF, injection, and access control.

Work with CI/CD pipelines and ensure assigned changes pass required checks before deployment.

Troubleshoot bugs, investigate issues, and contribute to production fixes.

Maintain appropriate documentation for code, APIs, and technical changes.

Keep Linear tickets updated with progress, blockers, and completion status.

Collaborate with team members in a fast-moving and agile development environment.

Learn and adopt new technologies, development practices, and AI-powered engineering tools.

Qualifications

Top 5 qualifications

1–3 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on experience building web applications.

Strong foundation in TypeScript and JavaScript, with practical experience in React.

Experience with Next.js or another modern full-stack React framework; familiarity with Next.js App Router is a plus.

Basic-to-good understanding of relational databases, SQL, and an ORM such as Prisma, Drizzle, TypeORM, or similar.

Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, Claude.ai, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools, with an understanding that AI-generated code needs to be reviewed and tested.

Additional Qualifications

Experience building responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.

Understanding of REST API development and integration.

Basic understanding of authentication and authorization concepts such as sessions, JWT, and RBAC.

Familiarity with common web security concepts including XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and secure access control.

Experience working with Git and standard software development workflows.

Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and automated build and deployment processes.

Experience writing unit and integration tests.

Familiarity with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest, or similar testing frameworks is a plus.

Ability to understand existing codebases and contribute to established application architecture.

Comfortable working with Linear, Jira, or an equivalent issue-tracking tool.

Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Ability to work independently on assigned development tasks while collaborating effectively with senior engineers.

Willingness to learn and experiment with new AI-powered development tools and workflows.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving product development environment.

Nice to Have

Hands-on experience with Next.js App Router.

Experience with Prisma, Drizzle, or TypeORM.

Experience with Cloudflare, AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with Playwright or other browser-based E2E testing tools.

Experience with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD platforms.

Exposure to MCP, AI agents, custom skills, hooks, or other AI development integrations.

Experience using Claude Code for real-world development tasks.

Familiarity with CMS-style applications with separate admin and public-facing experiences.

Basic understanding of SEO, structured data, sitemaps, or AI crawler optimization.

Exposure to Cloudflare Workers, D1, R2, or similar modern cloud/edge technologies.

Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
