Full Stack Developer (Web & Mobile)

Role Description

The Full Stack Developer (Web & Mobile) will work on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web and mobile applications that support Mahir's investment advisory and financial technology platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing responsive front-end interfaces, building secure and efficient back-end services, integrating APIs, and collaborating with product, research, and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role involves writing clean, testable code, participating in code reviews, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust security and data integrity across the stack. The developer will also contribute to system architecture decisions, documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices and tools. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using

Node.js (NestJS, Express.js)

Build responsive, performant web applications using React.js

and

Next.js

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native

Work on native mobile modules and features using Java/Kotlin (Android)

and

Swift/SwiftUI (iOS)

when required

Architect and implement

microservices

, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance

Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on

AWS

using

Docker

and container orchestration

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in

JavaScript/TypeScript

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security

Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and mobile apps

Ensure robust security and data integrity across the stack, in line with compliance requirements for financial/data-sensitive applications

Contribute to system architecture decisions, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of development practices

Required Skills

Languages:

JavaScript, TypeScript

Backend:

Node.js, NestJS, Express.js

Frontend:

React.js, Next.js

Mobile:

React Native (mandatory); working knowledge of native Android (Java/Kotlin) and/or native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) is a plus

Infrastructure:

AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.), Docker, Microservices architecture

Tools:

Git, CI/CD pipelines, RESTful/GraphQL APIs

Other:

Strong understanding of design patterns, data structures, and system design fundamentals

Good to Have

Experience with Android Studio and Xcode for native builds/debugging

Familiarity with app store (Play Store / App Store) release and deployment processes

Exposure to Kubernetes, Terraform, or other IaC tools

Experience with unit/integration testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)

Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
