The Java Software Engineer will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and testable code; implementing and maintaining microservices; and integrating applications with existing systems using the Spring Framework and related technologies. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participating in code reviews, and ensuring performance, scalability, and security standards are met. The engineer will also troubleshoot issues, optimize existing code, and support deployment and production operations in an agile environment.
Strong foundation in Programming and Java, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
Hands-on experience in Software Development, including end-to-end application design, implementation, testing, and support.
Practical knowledge of Microservices architecture, including building and integrating modular, scalable services.
Proficiency with Spring Framework and related ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) for enterprise application development.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, relational and/or NoSQL databases, and version control systems such as Git.
Experience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn new technologies and tools quickly.
Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site team setting.
