Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for banking systems, including front-end and back-end components.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/deployment.

Optimize application performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical challenges.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our products and processes.

Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience as a Java Full Stack Engineer, with expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Angular/React/Vue.js, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies.

Strong understanding of web development principles, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and responsive design.

Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices, such as CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience in the banking or financial services industry is a plus.
