Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer to join our client's engineering team in a full-time remote role.

As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions while ensuring high standards of code quality, performance, and security. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, QA, and DevOps to deliver reliable and impactful products.

Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and applications.

Writing clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-tested production code.

Building and integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.

Reviewing code, providing technical guidance, and maintaining engineering best practices.

Optimizing application performance, reliability, and scalability.

Participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

Troubleshooting production issues and implementing long-term solutions.

Mentoring junior developers and supporting their technical growth.

Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Contributing to CI/CD processes, deployment automation, and system monitoring.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating Systems, DBMS, and Software Engineering principles.

1-6 years of professional software development experience.

Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar.

Hands-on experience with backend development, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.

Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices.

Experience with automated testing, debugging, profiling, and performance optimization.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience designing large-scale distributed systems.

Knowledge of message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Previous experience mentoring developers and leading technical initiatives.
