Software Engineer in Test I

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.

Test frontend web applications, web components, backend services, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.

Create and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cases.

Use tools such as Postman to validate APIs and troubleshoot issues.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members throughout the SDLC.

Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira.

Participate in code reviews, test planning, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

Help maintain test data, test environments, and CI/CD quality checks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Basic understanding of JavaScript and web technologies.

Familiarity with frontend testing and backend/API testing concepts.

Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, Postman, Jira, and the Software Development Life Cycle.

Interest in test automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Preferred

Exposure to automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar.

Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Agile/Scrum, and cloud-based applications.

Knowledge of healthcare, life sciences, or supply-chain systems is a plus.
