Software Engineer

This full-time, on-site Software Engineer role is based in Bengaluru. The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support data analysis, content delivery, and internal tools for the hospitality insights platform. Daily responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, optimizing performance and scalability, writing clean and maintainable code, and collaborating with product and content teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of the technology stack.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.

Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).

Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, building and integrating APIs and working with databases.

Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to write clean, testable, and maintainable code; familiarity with unit testing and debugging tools.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, on-site team environment.

Exposure to cloud platforms, basic DevOps practices, or data-intensive applications in media or analytics domains is a plus.
