Software Engineer

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that support RiVirtual’s real estate intelligence, digital transformation platforms, and FinTech/PropTech products. Day-to-day activities include implementing back-end services and APIs, writing clean and efficient code, integrating data sources and third-party tools, and optimizing system performance and scalability. The role also involves collaborating with product and data teams, participating in code reviews, writing tests, and contributing to technical documentation and architecture decisions.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles

Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Experience with Back-End Web Development, including APIs and databases

Knowledge of modern development tools, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices

Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code

Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and familiarity with security best practices is a plus

Interest or experience in real estate, FinTech, or PropTech domains is beneficial
