This is a full-time, on-site XR Developer role based in Thane. The XR Developer will design, build, and optimize immersive VR experiences and architectural walkthroughs using industry-standard game engines and XR frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing interactive features, integrating 3D assets, collaborating with designers and architects, and ensuring smooth performance across supported hardware. The role also involves debugging and troubleshooting technical issues, refining user interactions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of Next Framee’s XR pipelines and tools. The XR Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver visually compelling, intuitive experiences aligned with client needs and project requirements.
Strong proficiency in game engines and XR development tools (e.g., Unity or Unreal Engine, XR/VR SDKs, basic C# or C++ programming).
Experience working with 3D assets and pipelines (e.g., integrating models from tools like Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya; understanding of materials, lighting, and optimization for real-time rendering).
Knowledge of interaction design and user experience for immersive environments (e.g., VR input systems, navigation, interface elements, usability best practices).
Familiarity with performance optimization and troubleshooting in XR (e.g., profiling, frame-rate optimization, memory management, hardware constraints).
Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Game Development, Interactive Media, or a related technical field.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, architects, and other stakeholders; strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to learn new XR technologies and workflows.
Prior experience in architectural visualization, real-estate tech, or immersive media is an advantage but not mandatory.
